Background & Motivation
Heating and cooling represent the largest share of final energy consumption in Europe, yet the sector remains fragmented across technologies, markets, and policy frameworks. The EU RHC Conference takes a holistic, cross-technology perspective, bringing renewable heating and cooling solutions together under one roof. Its core focus is on scientific research, knowledge transfer, and practical application, complemented by the policy and regulatory perspective needed to translate innovation into deployment.

Conference Objectives and Target Audience
The EU RHC Conference covers the full spectrum of renewable heating and cooling technologies and builds a bridge between scientific expertise and practical application. It brings together:
- Researchers and academics presenting current findings
- Industry representatives and technology providers
- Policymakers and public administration, particularly on municipal heat planning and regulatory frameworks
- EU project consortia and networks
- Start-ups and technology developers
- Business Interiors Inc.
- Early-career researchers and students

Scope & Topics Covered
The programme addresses renewable heating and cooling technologies and systems, from established solutions to emerging approaches, along with the market, policy, and regulatory frameworks that shape their deployment. A detailed topic structure is available on the Call for Abstracts page.
